YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE

You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. Some people say I have attitude - maybe I do... but I think you have to. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does - that makes you a winner right there. If you fail to believe in yourself no one will believe in you. Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.

GROW YOUR OWN MOTIVATION

We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.

Hardwork Pays

I deeply admire and respect Hillary Clinton. I think she is a great intellect with great fortitude. I think she was a strong secretary of state and a hardworking and effective senator. Being hardworking is one the best thing that can happen to people. But if someone is trying to skip the struggle - which is the creative job - our machines today, the technology that we have, can help the person, but it is only momentary. On the other hand, if you are creative, you have the skill, and you are hardworking, technology can only make you superior.

MAKE YOUR ENVIRONMENT A GOOD PLACE

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. We don't have to sacrifice a strong economy for a healthy environment. Building sustainable cities - and a sustainable future - will need open dialogue among all branches of national, regional and local government. And it will need the engagement of all stakeholders - including the private sector and civil society, and especially the poor and marginalized.

WORDS ON EDUCATION

Data is not information, information is not knowledge, knowledge is not understanding, understanding is not wisdom. It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Courage

Image
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

Do your Best if you want the Best

This is the precept by which I have lived: Prepare for the worst; expect the best; and take what comes. Do what you love to do and give it your very best. Whether it's business or baseball, or the theater, or any field. If you don't love what you're doing and you can't give it your best, get out of it. Life is too short. You'll be an old man before you know it. Whether it's the best of times or the worst of times, it's the only time we've got so put in your best so you can get the best. A lazy man will never get the one that is best for him but the one left.

Amazing

When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things. I think that at some point in your life you realize you don't have to worry if you do everything you're supposed to do right. Or if not right, if you do it the best you can... what can worry do for you? You are already doing the best you can. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

HAPPINESS

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. In order to have great happiness you have to have great pain and unhappiness - otherwise how would you know when you're happy?Try to make at least one person happy every day.  If you cannot do a kind deed, speak a kind word. If you cannot speak a kind word, think a kind thought. Count up, if you can, the treasure of happiness that you would dispense in a week, in a year, in a lifetime!

BE HAPPY

The happiness of life is made up of minute fractions - the little, soon forgotten charities of a kiss or a smile, a kind look or heartfelt compliment. I've always spent more time with a smile on my face than not, but the thing is, I don't write about it. Nobody needs a smile so much as the one who has none to give. So get used to smiling heart-warming smiles, and you will spread sunshine in a sometimes dreary world.

BE POSITIVE EVERY MOMENT

If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.

THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS

I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we're all teachers - if we're willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door. Always Do Your Best. Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

SMILE

Remember even though the outside world might be raining, if you keep on smiling the sun will soon show its face and smile back at you. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection. Always smile.
it's very important to have a feedback loop, where you're constantly thinking about what you've done and how you could be doing it better. I think that's the single best piece of advice: constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.

Positive Thinking

No matter what you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it but you can do it and just keep working towards it and you'll find the positive side of things. Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.

Attitude

You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. Some people say I have attitude - maybe I do... but I think you have to. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does - that makes you a winner right there. Happiness is an attitude of mind, born of the simple determination to be happy under all outward circumstances.

Life

Lonely wandering souls, and talk each other in passing, just a sign shown, and a far off voice in the dimness; So on the expanse of life, we pass and talk each other, just a look and a voice, then, at that point obscurity again and a quiet. How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.

Hardwork

In case somebody is attempting to avoid the battle - which is the inventive work - our machines today, the innovation that we have, can help the individual, however it is just transient. Then again, in case you are innovative, you have the ability, and you are dedicated, innovation can just make you unrivaled.

The Difference

It doesn't make any difference where one beginnings from; it doesn't make any difference at all where you start from. It is the means by which submitted you are, still up in the air you are, and how dedicated you are that will eventually have the effect.

INNOVATION

Innovation should make our lives simpler, permitting us to do things all the more rapidly and productively. However, again and again it appears to make things harder, leaving us with fifty-button controllers, advanced cameras with many puzzling highlights and book-length manuals, and vehicles with dashboard frameworks deserving of the space transport.

Data to Wisdom

Most of the time spent in school is devoted to the transmission of information and ways of obtaining it. Less time is devoted to the transmission of knowledge and ways of obtaining it (analytic thinking). Virtually no time is spent in transmitting understanding or ways of obtaining it (synthetic thinking). Furthermore, the distinction between data, information, and so on up to wisdom are seldom made in the educational process, leaving students unaware of their ignorance. They not only don’t know, they don’t know what they don’t know.

CHANGE

A sound American is simply one who has put out of his mind all doubts and questionings, and who accepts instantly, and as incontrovertible gospel, the whole body of official doctrine of his day, whatever it may be and no matter how often it may change. The instant he challenges it, no matter how timorously and academically, he ceases by that much to be a loyal and creditable citizen of the republic..
